GETTING TO KNOW KELLY

I work in finance in New York City — and I teach boxing classes.

Yes, that's right. Most people hear that and do a double take. For me, having the two keeps me balanced.


I took my love and passion for sports and turned it into a way to help people build strength, confidence, and community.


I grew up immersed in sports. It taught me discipline, helped me figure out myself, and it slowly built confidence along the way.


When I moved to New York City in 2018, I felt the full weight of what this city and a corporate career demand. But I knew I was not going to let fitness get pushed to the side. If anything, I needed it day by day while I found my footing here.


So I started boxing.


What started as basic bag classes turned into something I could not stop chasing. I wanted to understand more than just punching hard - the footwork, the combinations, the defense. I studied the sport, started to move around the ring and started watching professional fights. With all this desire built up, I eventually started amateur boxing training with a coach in 2020.


The sport gave me something my full time job could not: absolute total presence. Boxing does not let your mind be somewhere else. You have to be in the moment and fully focused. 


So I built something for the people I work alongside every day.


High-energy group classes rooted in real boxing technique — no experience needed, no ego required. Just a workout that matches the intensity of your life and gives you full permission to get out of your head and into your body. A real challenge, and a real outlet in a room full of people who get it.


I know that world. I live it. I built this from inside it.
